(Photos) 10 students of Divine Favor Lodge Ukwulu detained in Dunukofia Police Station


On 26th August, there was a fight between two lodge mates, a boy and a girl. After which the girl allegedly called her boyfriend who is said to be a senior adviser to the governor. The man came with his tugs and took away 10 boys from the lodge who were said to be innocent and has nothing to do with the said fight, while the culprit bailed himself with his legs on sighting the tugs.
In the police station, these boys were reportedly accused of kidnapping.

Just yesterday being 25th August, the remaining lodge mates, mainly females embarked on a peaceful demonstration to the Vice Chancellors house. After marathon of calls by the V.C to the DPO, Commissioner and Governor, the boys were released around 11PM last night, and conveyed back home with the Vice Chancellors official car.
The boys were asked to report back to the police station by 9am this morning. As at press time, the boys are in the station.
