On Friday 23rd February, Chinagorom Juliet Ijeoma, a final year student of Psychology died of a kidney problem. There will be a procession for her on Thursday 29th January then finally buried on the 31st of January. May her soul rest in peace. Amen Mr. Best reporting.

A legal practitioner, Mr. Chukwunweike Okafor, on Monday, approached the Federal High Court in Abuja with an application seeking a declaration that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), lacked the educational qualification to stand for the February 14 presidential election. The originating summons marked FHC/ABJ/CS/01/2015 has Buhari, APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission as the first, second and third defendants respectively. The suit was filed pursuant to Section 131 of the Constitution, which prescribes a minimum qualification for nomination to participate in the presidential election and Section 31 of the Electoral Act that requires all presidential candidates to depose to an affidavit that they have satisfied and complied with the constitutional requirements to be President of Nigeria.

It's no longer NEWS that Ansu Students embarked on a 'peaceful protest' on Friday 23rd January. The protest was triggered by a text sent from the office of the school Registrar on 20th of January at about 11:37am, instructing students to pay up their tuition fees before 26th of the same month, as the school website would be finally closed. On the 22nd of January, a text from an anonymous sender who hid under the name 'SchoolFeesCry' at about 7:15am sent a message which read thus: "D registra givn us monday 2 pay d fees if not dimd 2 hv witdron 4 dis sesion.dis is a AcMERCILESS POLICY.com out on friday n SPEAK 4 URSELF PEACEFUL PROTEST" The students then complied and shunned going school on Friday 23rd January, blocked the school road and stopped public transports. Our able Vice Chancellor spoke to the students and extended the closure of the school website by one week. At about 8:48pm on 25th January, the same anonymous sender with the name

A few minutes ago, in a certain shop near Stock2 Otoko where men were happily drinking, an unknown man suddenly arrived in a motorbike, and shot a student then disappeared with the same bike. According to sources, the victim is alive and responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital. Barely 24 hours after releasing Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) results, the Principal of the Government College, Katsina, Mallam Isyaku Bello, has been receiving death threats. Lots of peeps from Igbariam campus have asked me questions regarding the identity of the new Anti-Cult Squad posted to our school. Some of these men are usually dressed in the Navy regalia and show no mercy to students. I have considered it worthwhile to visit these people and have a conversation with them. This is what I garnered after my visitation. The Anti-Cult Squad in most schools like Federal Polytechnic Oko, University of Abuja, Imo State University and many others including our own ANSU is contracted to a security company known as 'Life Guard Security Network'. Life Guard security network is owned by three members of force whose names I may not disclose at the moment. The company recruits men from different forces like the Police, Navy, Army and of course civilians. They are more powerful that we thought. Popular Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, who heads the Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu, has begged Nigerians to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan in the forthcoming elections which will take place next month. The Students Union leader of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Honourable Noble Eyisi is currently battling with a pregnancy scandal. According to reports reaching me, he was said to have impregnated a certain 100level student of the university. In a telephone interview conducted by Jisieke Samuel for Billion Bill, the president debunked the rumour saying it was the product of mischief makers aimed at painting his image black.
