A two-week meeting of bishops on family issues arrived at its halfway point Monday with a document summarizing the closed-door debate so far. No decisions were announced, but the tone of the preliminary document was one of almost-revolutionary acceptance, rather than condemnation, with the aim of guiding Catholics toward the ideal of a lasting marriage.

I am so pained right now as I announce the death of my best friend Nigeria. He passed away yesterday at Dog Way Veterinary Hospital Onitsha, after being vaccinated by a quack doctor who administered him an overdose injection. Nigeria died at exactly 8:16am. Nigeria died at the age of 1year and 10months. He is survived by Me, Myself and I. When Nigeria was alive, he would get jealous when I pay so much attention to my laptop, BBM, girlfriends or try to glance at my boring law books. I talk and he listens perfectly. May I use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those who made sure that Nigeria was comfortable whenever I get too busy; Biggy (D.O.S), Ebube and Effizy, Igwe Agric. Nigeria would have wished to live longer if it were in his powers...I'm sure...At the point of its death, the tears in his eyes muttered 'I will miss miss you' as they slowly closed. Yay! My dad finally gave me permission to buy the 2014 Range Rover and I'm beyond happy. I've wanted this car for so long but he was against me buying it. But it's my birthday this Friday and he finally agreed that I could buy it for myself as a birthday present. So he and I went to a car company in Victoria Island yesterday and bought this brand new 2014 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. I bought it for N24million. Yeah, I know! Its a lot of money to spend on a car but I've been wanting this car since it came out...so...lol. But I swear I've been feeling so guilty since I bought it. Dear Mr. Senate president, I think that will never regret saying that you are still playing a preschool politics. The senate president should try and consult section 4 sub section (2) of the students union government. Constitution which stipulates that the legislative power to make law for the campuses shall be vested on the students house of representatives referred to as the SHOR of the campus. Section 44 sub-section (a) says that the house of the Reps, shall have powers to make laws for the peace, order and good governance of the campus, (d)i part of it says subject to the provisions of this constitution the  house of Reps, shall have powers to regulate its procedure.
