18 Students Arrested at Igbariam Junction Yesterday...
It was a few minutes into 8pm yesterday, when the Nigeria police invaded the Jesus is Lord area and arrested eighteen (18) 'student-passer bys'.
These students were taken to Nteje Police station where they passed the night. At dawn, they were placed on bail.
Some of these students are innocent and were not accused of any crime at all.
According to an eye witness who pleaded anonymity, the police was fond of arresting students for no reason and requesting for bail at long last.
The S.U.G governor, Comrade Nze Sam said such 'unlawful' arrest will not continue, as the attention of the commissioner of police has been called on this matter.
