Robbery at Shalom Lodge

Last night was bloody for the residents of Shalom lodge at Ukwulu as inmates suffer severe attack by armed robbers. The robbery started 1a.m and lasted for about 30mins. According to reports the robbery attack left over five casualties who were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

'I fought with them until they got my head open. I wanted to make sure they did not have a successful operation. This is the second time they are attacking us.' - Nnaemeka (Caretaker)
