Sen Dr Chris Ngige unveils his manifesto

The APC Gubernatorial candidate for the forthcoming Anambra state election, Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige, on thursday the 3rd of october unveiled his Manifesto. He also presented his Deputy (Running mate) in the person of Hon Ralph Okeke, who was a two time Honorable member representing Anambra east and west L.G.A in the national assembly and a one time local government chairman.

Agenda:  Onwa read out his twelve points Agenda to our hearing, but i think the most important part Anambra state university students want to hear is this. Onwa made this promise!!

           Re-accreditation of courses De-accredited by NUC at ANSU

           Scholarship for deserving Anambra state students in tertiary institutions. Una hear am?

  Stewardship:  Senator Dr Chris Ngige also gave a clear stewardship and his works as a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria: 1.the Senator is one of the very few senators that belong to more than five(5) committees, in his own case he belongs to seven(7) committees.

 Bills passed and motions:  1.the most prominent and essential of his bills is the farmers registration council bill. When this bills becomes law,it will jump-start an agrarian revolution in Nigeria,putting food on the table of the ordinary Nigerian by creating a platform for the organization.

                            2. Senator Ngige sponsored, and moved the motion on the Death of professor Chinua Achebe. This motion reproduced below in its entirety on "the senate order paper". In summary this motion was responsible for giving professor chinua Achebe a state Burial that was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan and the president of Ghana. This motion also asked for other things including the immortalization of Achebe by naming federal institutions, or monuments road or streets after him.

       He promised the people of Anambra that as long as God continues to give him life,health and strength, he will never stop to lift the lives of the downtrodden in their midst. He would continue to be a voice and an action point for the masses.
